Four More Years for Prince Muqrin

This is not a surprise, but Saudi Arabia's Head of General Intelligence, Prince Muqrin bin ‘Abd al-‘Aziz, has had his tenure extended for another four years.

Prince Muqrin, who is the youngest surviving son of King ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Al Saud, succeeded Prince Nawaf in the post in 2005. Nawaf in turn had succeeded the long-serving Prince Turki al-Faisal, who held the post for 25 years before becoming Ambassador to the UK and the US.
